We headed out around 8:00 am. We were the first in our group to go. Everyone's sailing comfort is different some like it as smooth as glass, where others can handle a bit of chop and some swell. We promised the group that we would let them know what the sea state was at. I did not take any pictures as we were paying attention to what we were doing....sailing! There was a swell and a bit roughness but nothing that we had not sailed before. Once we cleared the Whale and turned the corner, we entered the Sea of Abaco. Wow, was the word. As the wind was coming out of the east, we decided to cut across the sea to the other shore and then tack south. It was a great sail.
Marsh Harbor is a large city. There are many expensive homes here. Lots of shops and a great place to get provisions. We will visit here again soon. We met up with our friends from Clarity (Kim and Terry) and we attended a Tourist Appreciation Evening complete with a fashion show and a Junkanoo performance. Oh did I mention free beer and wine. There were lots of people here and the place was elbow to elbow.
